Marketing Studio enables you to design, launch, and manage your entire marketing campaign from one unified workspace. Effortlessly create images, videos, and copy for multiple channels without juggling dozens of tools. As you develop your campaign, the AI-driven platform automatically fills in key details such as the campaign name, objectives, target audience, and budget.
You can easily tailor creative assets to your specific goals, audience segments, and distribution channels with the help of AI, which suggests optimal options and supports seamless execution within the Marketing Studio environment.
To successfully launch your first campaign in HubSpot Marketing Studio, start by clearly defining your core objectives—this could include boosting brand awareness, generating high-quality leads, or increasing sales. With these goals in mind, you’ll be able to strategically plan each subsequent step.
Leverage the comprehensive tools within HubSpot to orchestrate your campaign: segment your target audiences, design landing pages, set up automated email workflows, and schedule social media posts—all within a single, intuitive workspace. Regularly review your campaign’s performance using HubSpot analytics to identify key growth opportunities and refine your strategy for future campaigns.
To start creating a new campaign using AI in Marketing Studio:
Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to Marketing → Marketing Studio.
To create a campaign from scratch, in the top right corner, click Create campaign.
If you wish to use ready-made solutions, in the Recommended templates section, choose Use template.
These steps will allow you to quickly launch a marketing campaign, tailored specifically to your goals and audience.
In the Tell us about your campaign section, enter the brief details for your campaign. This will automatically generate a campaign brief and assets in Marketing Studio.
To use AI to generate your campaign description, in the bottom left corner, click Help me prompt. Then select one of the suggested prompts.
To add any additional images or documents, in the bottom left corner, click the Files dropdown menu and select Upload files or images or Add files from file manager. You can add the following file types:
Images: add images for your generated creatives. You can use existing image files or upload new images.
Documents: upload supporting documents for the campaign, for example, an existing campaign brief. You can upload files in docx, pptx, or pdf format.
If you have a brand book, click the Brand kit dropdown menu and select the desired option.
After setting up the campaign details, in the bottom right corner, click Generate campaign.
To skip this step and prepare your campaign manually, click Skip this step at the bottom.
You can also clone existing campaigns to quickly create a new campaign based on proven solutions. In Marketing Studio or using the campaigns tool, you just need to select the desired campaign and copy it along with its key assets — this significantly speeds up the launch and ensures the consistent quality of your marketing initiatives.
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Marketing Studio.
On the Overview page, click Clone existing campaign.
In the dialogue box, click the Campaign dropdown menu and select an existing campaign. Then click Next.
Select the checkboxes next to the asset types you want to clone.
All assets will be selected automatically.
Asset types that cannot be cloned will be greyed out.
To clone only specific assets, click the asset type to expand. Then select the checkboxes next to the asset you want to clone.
Click Clone.
After creating a campaign using Marketing Studio, you will be directed to the canvas view by default. At the top, you can switch between different views:
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Marketing Studio.
At the top, click the Manage tab. In the table, select an existing campaign. Alternatively, create a new campaign.
At the top, select your view. You can choose from the following:
Canvas: view the campaign in the canvas view.
Calendar: view the campaign in a calendar format.
Board: view and manage your assets in a board view.
You can view assets in the Placeholder, Draft, Scheduled, Published, and Archived stages.
Table: view a list of all assets in a table, including the asset name, assigned user, any comments, due dates, asset type, and the asset's creation date.
Set up your campaign first in the canvas view. In this view, you can structure the campaign, as well as create and view assets directly in Marketing Studio. For convenient teamwork, use the collaboration sidebar: add comments to the entire campaign or to individual assets, and involve colleagues in the discussion.
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Marketing Studio.
At the top, click the Manage tab. In the table, select an existing campaign. Alternatively, create a new campaign.
In the left sidebar menu, click the + add icon.
Click and drag a content type onto the canvas.
To add content to each of your content type cards, click + Add content. Then choose from the following:
Generate with AI: use AI to generate a new asset for the selected content type.
Create: create a new asset for the selected content type.
Associate Content: associate an existing asset with the selected content type.
To upload existing files from your device to your campaign, you can drag and drop the file directly onto the canvas.
To group assets, click and drag the selection area to include the cards you want to group, and click the group icon.
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Marketing Studio.
At the top, click the Manage tab. In the table, select an existing campaign. Alternatively, create a new campaign.
To act on an asset, click the menu icon and choose from the following:
Edit [content type]: edit your associated asset. You will be automatically directed to the content editor.
Create a sticky note: create and associate a sticky note with the asset.
Clone [content type]: clone the content card and any associated assets.
Assign owner: assign a HubSpot user to the content.
Delete [content type]: delete the content type from this campaign. If there are associated assets, they will not be deleted and can still be accessed directly in the tool.
To track the connection between your assets:
Hover over the asset. Connection dots will automatically appear on the edges of the asset.
Click and drag the arrow from your asset to the connection dot of the asset you want to connect to. The connection will remain when moving your assets.
To manage multiple assets at once, click and drag the selection area to include the cards you want to act on. Then choose from the following:
Assign: assign the selected assets to a HubSpot user.
Group: group and organize your assets together. Grouped assets can be moved together or deleted in bulk on the canvas.
Clone: duplicate all assets in the selected area.
Delete: delete all assets in the selected area.
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Marketing Studio.
At the top, click the Manage tab. In the table, select an existing campaign. Alternatively, create a new campaign.
In the top left, click the dropdown menu and select Calendar.
To change the calendar view, in the top right, select Month or Week.
To display the calendar with due dates or publish dates, in the top right, click the dropdown menu and select View publish dates or View due dates.
When viewing Due dates in the calendar, you can view and set due dates for your assets in drafts:
In the top left, click the + icon.
In the left panel, click and drag an asset to the desired date. The due date will be automatically set for that asset.

After creating your campaign using Marketing Studio, to view campaign performance, follow these steps:
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Marketing Studio.
At the top, click the Manage tab. In the table, select an existing campaign. Alternatively, create a new campaign.
In the top right corner, click the performance icon.
You will automatically be redirected to the campaign performance page.
When viewing assets on the performance page, published assets will appear in the assets section on the performance page.
Campaign assets that have not yet been published, such as social media draft posts, draft emails, etc., will not be displayed.
Please note: To access your overall campaign analytics, use the global search bar to find and open Campaign Analytics.
After creating your campaign using Marketing Studio, to view campaign performance:
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Marketing Studio.
At the top, click the Manage tab.
Click on the campaign name you want to view. In the Canvas window, key metrics will appear on the published assets.
To view performance metrics for an asset:
Click on the asset card.
In the left panel, click the Performance tab. Metrics for this specific asset will appear.
In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Marketing Studio.
At the top, click the Manage tab.
To segment your campaigns, at the top, navigate to the different views. To create a custom view, click + Add view.
To filter your campaign by owner, click the Campaign owner dropdown menu and select a HubSpot user.
To filter your campaign by other campaign properties, click Advanced filters.
To review your campaign performance, click the three vertical dots icon next to the campaign. Then, click View performance.
In the dialogue box, enter the Name for your cloned campaign.
Select the checkboxes next to the asset types you want to clone. All assets for that asset type will be automatically selected.
Asset types that cannot be cloned will be greyed out.
To clone only specific assets, click the [asset type] to expand. Then select the checkboxes next to the asset you want to clone.
Click Clone.
Click the three vertical dots icon next to the campaign. Then, click Delete.
In the dialogue box, click Delete campaign.
To compare your campaigns, select the checkboxes next to the campaigns you want to compare. Then, at the top of the table, click Compare campaigns.
