How to use LongTailPro
Look for Low Competition Long Tail Keywords
Go to Keyword Research, create your first project and type seed keywords that refer to your business.
For $35 you have an option to find 800 keywords per day. For me it’s more than enough. Though, if you want to increase this number in future, you can upgrade your account to LongTail Platinum.
By default, the system finds 20 long tail keywords per request, and in most case I also recommend using 20 – 30 results at once. Thus, you’ll touch market, and don’t waste your keywords on highly competitive niches.
Remember, your target is low competition keywords. When you look at searching results, pay the most attention at 2 parameters: average KC and Volume.
Average KC is a result of LongTailPro competitive analysis. The lower KC number, the less is competition. It means, that it will be easier and faster to rank in top 100 of Google search.
Second important value is Volume. Volume means how many times people are typing this keyword in Google. As you can see at the above screenshot, “long tail focus keywords etsy” has the highest volume – 30. So, people were typing it 21 – 30 times per month.
Check how your competitors are ranking
You should also create a list of competitors, if you don’t have one. After that, just copy paste your competitor’s URL and check which keywords they are ranking!
It’s easy to see their marketing strategy and find gaps where you can rank against them!

There are 2 main parameters here – Trust Flow and Citation Flow.
Trust flow stands for authority of websites pointing to your domain. The more authority websites link to your website, the higher is true flow. Authority websites are Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Quora, Reddit and other famous websites.
Citation Flow shows a total number of backlinks to your domain from all the websites (not only authority websites). This parameter is also valuable, though Trust flow is the most important for Search Engines.
SERP analysis
Search engine results page (SERP) is a feature that can retrieve the overall competitiveness of each keyword. It includes not only organic search, but also paid advertising and Local search.
If the keyword you want to compete against is shown in Local Search, it means that it would be very difficult to rank for it.
